OMC (unofficial) trip to Ireland - Day 4;
The forecasts (Norwegian and Irish) had predicted a reasonable weather window, but the Atlantic disagreed.
Parked at the Mount Brandon car park (for the pilgrim trail) and proceeded up into the mist, with Richard Moore, Nicky Creadland, Tricia Teeling, Cody & Jean Moffat, Ian and Mhairi McCabe.
There were some breaks in the mist while ascending, which gave good views to the southern half of the Dingle Penisula. But on the summit the visibility was 50m. Stopped for lunch on the summit and back the same way, 5hrs all in. 2nd Furth of this trip.
