Managed a weekend away at last, although I think we had a rather optimistic view on the weather. We decided upon a ridge up Ben Attow in Kintail. Weather was promising to begin with but by late morning was turning rather worse with high winds, snow and resulting poor vis. Turned back after reaching point 925 (Harveys maps) on the ridge. Wise decision as we were soon caught in blizzard conditions. Wet lower down.

A great day to be out in the mountains. We went for a walk up the hills of Corrour/Rannoch Forest. A fantastic amount of snow all around, great views everywhere. We walked up a good circuit of Carn Dearg, Sgor Gaibhre and Beinn Pharlagain. Would make a good ski tour.

On Saturday went for a hillwalk up An Coileachan and Meall Gorm. The next day we went up Beinn Liath Mhor Fannaich and Sgurr Mor.
